Traveling South on Routes 8 and 25
Take Exit 1- (Myrtle Avenue): turn left at the light at the end of the ramp (Prospect Street).  At the second stop light (you will pass the State Police Station), turn right onto Lafayette Blvd. and head South until you reach the end. FROM ROUTE I-80 WESTBOUND (FROM NEW YORK):
Take Exit 52, following signs for the Caldwells onto Passaic Avenue. Go 3.4 miles and turn left onto Bloomfield Avenue. Go approximately two miles and turn right into the campus entrance. FROM ROUTE I-287: Take Exit 41 to Route I-80 Eastbound, and follow directions below.
FROM ROUTE I-80 EASTBOUND (FROM PENNSYLVANIA):
Take Exit 47B onto Route 46 East. After the second traffic light (Hook Mt./Chapin Road), stay right and follow the signs for “The Caldwells – Newark” onto Bloomfield Avenue. Take Bloomfield Avenue through West Caldwell (four traffic lights) and Caldwell (six traffic lights). The campus entrance will be on the right.

Continue for four miles to the College, the entrance is on the left. The SugarLoaf campus entrance is on the right, a quarter-mile further east on Germantown Avenue.

From Northeast Philadelphia
Follow Cottman Avenue/Route 73 West to Church Road and turn left. Follow to Paper Mill Road and turn left. Continue to Stenton Avenue, follow signs and bear right onto Stenton. Continue for one mile to the intersection of Stenton and Northwestern. Turn left onto Northwestern Avenue; continue past Morris Arboretum, one block to Germantown Avenue, then turn left. The College entrance is on the left. The Sugarloaf campus entrance is on the right, a quarter-mile further east on Germantown Avenue.

From the West
Route 76 or 276/Pennsylvania Turnpike East to Exit 333: Norristown. From the exit, stay to the right to follow Germantown Pike East toward Philadelphia. Continue for four miles to the College, the entrance is on the left. The Sugarloaf campus entrance is on the right, a quarter-mile further east on Germantown Avenue.

 

From the South
I-95 North to Route 476 North to Exit 19: Germantown Pike East. Exit onto Chemical Road to the traffic light. Turn right onto Germantown Pike and continue four miles to the College, the entrance is on the left. The SugarLoaf campus entrance is on the right, a quarter-mile further east on Germantown Avenue.

From the North

From Brooklyn, Staten Island, or Long Island
Take the Belt Parkway West to the Verrazano Bridge to the Outerbridge Crossing. Take 440 South to the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 91. Follow directions as written for “From Northern New Jersey, New York, or New England.”

Exit at Van Cortlandt Park South. From the south, bear left along the fork of the exit ramp and make a left at the traffic light. From the north, make a left at the traffic light. Proceed up the winding hill for 4 traffic lights. Immediately after 4th traffic light, make a quick right onto Goulden Avenue. Cross over two drawbridges and move into the right lane after the second bridge.  Exit onto Route 440 South and proceed approximately one mile to the intersection for Danforth Avenue (this will also be the entrance for Society Hill of Jersey City). Go past this intersection and through the next light. The entrance to the Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex will be the next right turn just after the visiting bleachers on the football field.

Continue on I-95 North into New Jersey. Take exit 4 (Route 31/Pennington
Road). Bear to the right off the exit ramp, you will be traveling
south on Route 31. At the third traffic light (about 1.5 miles),
make a left into the College entrance. Stay to the right and approx. 1 mile the field will be on your right.  The best place for officials to park is the parking lot just beyond center field. 

From Route 78 (Easton, PA and the West)

Take Route 78 East into New Jersey. Continue to exit 17 (Route 31
South/Flemington and Trenton). Continue south on Route 31 into the
Flemington Circle. Take Route 202/31 South. Exit at Route 31 South
(Trenton). Follow Route 31 South until the entrance to the College
(about 1.5 miles past the junction of I-95, left at the fourth traffic
light). Stay to the right and approx. 1 mile the field will be on your right.  The best place for officials to park is the parking lot just beyond center field. 

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Pittsburgh, PA and Ohio)

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike/I-276 East to the Philadelphia/US
1 exit. Keep left at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto US 1 North
Lincoln Highway. Stay straight to go onto US 1 North. Take the I-95
North exit toward Trenton. Merge onto Delaware Expressway/I-95 North.
Proceed into New Jersey. Take exit 4 (Route 31/Pennington Road).

Take the Verrazano Bridge to Staten Island. Stay on 278 West to
Goethals Bridge. After crossing the bridge, take first exit for 95
South (NJ Turnpike). Follow directions from NJ Turnpike

From Route 23

Take Alps Road exit (Wayne). (From Route 23 North: exit directly onto Alps Road. From Route 23 South: proceed to stop sign; make a right onto Alps Road.) Proceed approximately 2 miles to the traffic light at intersection of Alps and Ratzer Roads. Turn extreme right onto Ratzer and proceed approximately 2 miles to the traffic light at the intersection of Ratzer Road and Hamburg Turnpike. After crossing intersection, Ratzer becomes Pompton Road. Proceed about 200 yards. University entry gates 4 through 1 are on left along Pompton Road. From Route 23 and Alps Road, the distance to campus is 5.5 miles with an approximate travel time of 10 minutes.

From Northern New Jersey via Garden State Parkway

Take the Garden State Parkway South to exit 159, Route 80 West. Proceed to Route 23 North. *See directions from Route 23.

 

From New York City via George Washington Bridge or Lincoln Tunnel, or from Eastern New Jersey

Take either Route 46 West, 80 West or 3 West. Proceed to Route 23 North. *See directions from Route 23.

Alternate Softball Field- Cunningham Park

Cunningham Park, Field #9 is located on 73rd Avenue in between Francis Lewis Blvd and Hollis Hills Terrace in Queens.

From I-295 (New Jersey)

After crossing Delaware Memorial Bridge, stay right and follow sign to Route 13 South, Dover. Once on Route 13 South, go approximately 1 mile to third traffic light (2nd overhead walkway). Turn left between the college and BP gas station. Follow to the back parking lot.

From I-95 South (Philadelphia)

Take 1-95 South to exit 5A, Route 141 South toward New Castle. Take 141 South past the third traffic light, then take the second exit on the right onto Route 13 North. Wilmington University will be immediately on the right. Turn right at the first traffic light and follow Fithian Drive all the way to the back parking lot. The field is located behind the grey Annex buildings.

From I-95 North (Baltimore)

Take 1-95 North to exit 5A, Route 141 South toward New Castle. Keep left after exiting. Follow road to a traffic light. Turn right onto 141 South. Take 141 South past the second traffic light, then take the second exit on the right onto Route 13 North. Wilmington University will be immediately on the right. Turn right at the first traffic light and follow Fithian Drive all the way to the back parking lot. The field is located behind the grey Annex building.

 

From Central & Southern Delaware and Maryland Eastern Shore

Take Route 13 North or Route 40 East toward Wilmington. Keep right past Airport Plaza Shopping Center (on right) and the New Castle County airport (on left). You will pass under Route 141 (Basin Road). Wilmington University will be immediately on your right. Turn right at the first traffic light and follow Fithian Drive all the way to the back parking lot. The field is located behind the grey Annex buildings.
