Take Exit 47B onto Route 46 East. After the second traffic light (Hook Mt./Chapin Road), stay right and follow the signs for “The Caldwells – Newark” onto Bloomfield Avenue. Take Bloomfield Avenue through West Caldwell (four traffic lights) and Caldwell (six traffic lights). The campus entrance will be on the right.
 

From the North and East

Route 95/New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 6: Pennsylvania Turnpike/Route 276 West to Exit 333: Norristown. From the exit, stay to the right to follow Germantown Pike East toward Philadelphia. Continue for four miles to the College, the entrance is on the left. The SugarLoaf campus entrance is on the right, a quarter-mile further east on Germantown Avenue.

Follow Cottman Avenue/Route 73 West to Church Road and turn left. Follow to Paper Mill Road and turn left. Continue to Stenton Avenue, follow signs and bear right onto Stenton. Bear RIGHT onto Peninsula Blvd.  Travel approx 1/3 mile and Klein Field is on the RIGHT. Turn RIGHT into the parking lot.

Montclair State University is on Valley Rd. and Normal Ave., Montclair, N.J., one mile south of the junction of Routes 3 and 46. We are located 14 miles from New York City..

Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 15E (Newark/Jersey City). Pay toll, and follow signs to Routes 1 & 9 North (Truck Route). Cross over two drawbridges and move into the right lane after the second bridge.  Exit onto Route 440 South and proceed approximately one mile to the intersection for Danforth Avenue (this will also be the entrance for Society Hill of Jersey City). Go past this intersection and through the next light. The entrance to the Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex will be the next right turn just after the visiting bleachers on the football field.

From the west

Long Island Expressway (I-495) to exit 39N (Glen Cove Road). Follow Glen Cove Road

Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 13. Cross the Goethels Bridge to I-278 east (Staten Island Expressway). Cross the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to the Belt Parkway east. Follow the Belt Parkway to the Cross Island Parkway north (toward the Whitestone Bridge). Follow the Cross Island Parkway to Exit 30 - Long Island Expressway (I-495) east. Take the Long Island Expressway to Exit 39 and make a left at the light (Glen Cove Road north). Go north for 2 miles; turn right (east) on Northern Boulevard (Route 25A). C.W. Post is 2 miles on the right.

Take the George Washington Bridge east to the Cross Bronx Expressway. Cross the Throgs Neck Bridge then follow directions given from Bronx, Westchester and Points North.

Take Long Island Expressway (I-495) to Exit 41N (Route 107). Turn right (north) onto 107 north. Proceed to Northern Boulevard (Route 25A). Turn left (west) at Northern Boulevard. C.W. Post is on the left.

In Nassau County, take Wantagh State Parkway or Meadowbrook Parkway north to Northern State Parkway West to Exit 31 (Glen Cove Road North). At light, turn left (north) on Glen Cove Road. Proceed for 3 miles to Northern Boulevard (Route 25A), turn right (east). C.W. Post is 2 miles on the right. In Suffolk County, take most convenient north-south road to the Long Island Expressway (I-495) and follow directions given from Eastern Long Island.

By Car:
From New York City, Southern Westchester, and Long Island

Take I-287 (Cross Westchester Expressway) to Exit 8E. Shortly after first traffic light, bear left onto Anderson Hill Road. Proceed approximately 2.5 miles. The campus is on the left, just after intersection at Lincoln Avenue.

From Northern Westchester
Take I-684 south to Exit 2 (Route 120), drive over the bridge and turn right onto Route 120 south (Purchase Street).  Make the first left onto Route 120 south (Purchase Street).  Follow Route 120 south 3.2 miles to Anderson Hill Road (1st traffic light) and turn left. Turn left at 2nd traffic light into campus.

From Connecticut
Take the Merritt Parkway south (which becomes the Hutchinson River Parkway in New York State) south to New York Exit 28, Lincoln Avenue (Note: Do not get off at Exit 28 in Connecticut). Turn right onto Lincoln Avenue and proceed approximately one mile to Anderson Hill Road (2nd traffic light). Turn right onto Anderson Hill Road. The campus is immediately on the left.

From NYC via rail from Grand Central Station
Take the Harlem/Metro North Line to White Plains. Board the Anderson Hill Road bus No. 12 or take a taxi to campus. Alternatively, take the New Haven/Metro North Line to Rye and take a taxi to campus.

Take LIE westbound to exit 23 (Main St). Make a left at light on Main St. Take 2 lights, make a left onto Reeves Ave (John Bound HS on corner). Take Reeves Ave about 1/2 mile to the Reeves Ave gate entrance. Enter gate and make a right at stop sign. Parking garage is straight ahead and softball field is located next to it.

From Manhattan and Points West

Take the LIE eastbound to exit 23 (Main Street); Make a left at light on Main St. Take 2 lights, make a left onto Reeves Ave (John Bound HS on corner). Take Reeves Ave about 1/2 mile to the Reeves Ave gate entrance. Enter gate and make a right at stop sign. Parking garage is straight ahead and softball field is located next to it.

FROM THE SOUTH

USING ROUTE 17
Follow Route 17 North to Mahwah to exit sign “202 Suffern/Morristown” on right. At the end of
the short exit ramp turn left (Route 202 South). Continue on Route 202 to light. Campus entrance

Travel north on the Garden State Parkway to The Atlantic City Service area. (mile post 42.5) Exit the north end of the service area following the signs to the Hospital on Jim Leeds Rd. At the traffic light, turn left onto W. Jimmie Leeds Road. Proceed past Stockton’s Main Entrance. At the next light make a right onto Pomona Rd. (Rt. 575). Travel until you see fields on you right. Parking is located in the Lot on the right adjacent to the fields.

From the North (Northern New Jersey, New York, etc.)
Take the NJ Turnpike South to Exit 4 (73 North). In approximately 1 mile, take I-295 South. Follow I-295 to Route 42 South (Atlantic City). Exit Route 42 South onto Route 55 South. Take I–95 North to the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Take the N.J. Turnpike North to Exit 2 and take Route 322 East. Stay on Rt. 322 for approximately 14 miles. Take New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 4, proceed on Rt. 73 North approximately one mile to Rt. 38 West.

Proceed straight on King Blvd. to Warren Street (5 blocks) and make a left.

Take exit 145 to Route 280 East, Newark-Harrison.

From New York City Via the George Washington Bridge

Bear right crossing the bridge following signs to Palisades Interstate Parkway. Travel on the Palisades Parkway to Exit 5 (Sparkill - Route 303 North). Bear right coming off the ramp and go north on Route 303 to the SECOND traffic light. Turn right on Route 340. The College is approximately 1/2 mile on the left. Drive past college and the field is 1/3 mile on the right.

From Westchester or Connecticut via Tappan Zee Bridge

Travel on the New York Thurway to Exit 12. Bear right coming off the ramp and travel south on Route 303 about 4 miles to Route 340. Turn left on Route 340. The College is about 1/2 mile on the left. Drive past college and the field is 1/3 mile on the right.

From Albany area

Take the New York State Thruway to exit 12. Follow directions above. St. Thomas is less than 2 hours from Albany, NY.

From Bergen County

Follow directions as above via Palisades Interstate Parkway or take Livingston Street from Northvale which changes into Route 303, and follow as above.

Northern NJ

Take the NJ Turnpike (I-95) to exit 13 (I-278, Goethals Bridge).  After exiting the NJ Turnpike travel across the Goethals Bridge onto I-278 East.  Follow Eastbound I-278 (SI Expressway) directions below.

Central and Southern NJ

Take the NJ Turnpike (I-95) 

to exit 10 (Outerbridge Crossing/440).  Follow 440 N over the Outerbridge.  Stay on 440 N (Westshore Expressway) until it merges with I-278 East (SI Expressway).  Follow Eastbound I-278 (SI Expressway) directions below.

New York City and Long Island

Traveling Westbound on the Staten Island Expressway from the Verrazano- Narrows Bridge, take the Victory Boulevard Exit (#10). At Victory Boulevard, turn left and continue under the Expressway and turn left into the campus at the first traffic light.

**Traveling Eastbound on the SI Expressway, take the Victory Boulevard Exit (#8) and turn left onto Victory Boulevard, and turn right at the traffic light to enter the campus.

Northbound I-95 Express

Follow the NJ Turnpike (I-95) NORTH to Lincoln Tunnel exit (Exit 16E). Take the last exit before the tunnel (Weehawken/Hoboken exit)) and keep to the right. Go straight through the first light, bearing right at the bottom of the hill onto Park Street. Turn left at the first light onto Baldwin Avenue. Cross the railroad tracks and bear left. Our field is 1/10 of a mile on the right. Enter the 2nd driveway for the turf field.

From the Lincoln Tunnel

Keep to the right as you pass through the tunnel from NYC. Take the Hoboken exit (first one after exiting the tunnel). At the second light,turn left onto 19th street. Continue straight into Lincoln Harbor, bearing right at the fork. Continue straight and make a right at the stop sign. Our field is 1/10 of a mile on the right. Enter the 2nd driveway for the turf field.

From the Holland Tunnel

After exiting the tunnel from NYC, make a right at the first light onto Marin Boulevard. Proceed on Marin through the first traffic signal, pass under the train trestle and bear right onto Observatory Highway. Follow Observatory to the second traffic signal and turn left onto Washington Street. Follow Washington Street to 14th street and turn left. Proceed to the second traffic signal and turn right onto Park Avenue. Cross the Hoboken/Weehawken Bridge and turn right at the first light onto Lincoln Harbor. Bear right at the fork. Continue straight and make a right at the stop sign. Our field is 1/10 of a mile on the right. Enter the 2nd driveway for the turf field.

From George Washington Bridge &Southbound 1-95

Follow 1-95 south towards the lincoln TunnellExit 17. Continue towards the Lincoln Tunnel (495East). Take the Hoboken/Weehawken exit. Stay to the right and go straight
through the first light. bearing right at the bottom of the hill. Tum left at the first light onto Baldwin Ave. Cross the railroad tracks and left. Our field is located on the right. Enter the second driveway for the turf field

From I-80

Take I-80 East to the U.S. 206/Route 183 exit. Keep right at the
fork in the ramp. Merge onto US 206. Take the I-287 South ramp toward
Somerville (I-78)/Princeton. Merge onto I-287 South. Take the US
202 South/US 206 South exit. See directions below from *Continue
on US 202 South.

From the New York State Thruway

Take the New York State Thruway/I-87 South. Take the I-287 South/Route
17 South exit. Merge onto I-287 South. Take the US 202 South/US 206
South exit. *Continue on US 202 South. At the Flemington Circle,
continue on US 202/31 South. Exit US 202/31 onto Route 31 South (Trenton). Follow Route 31 South until the entrance to the College (about 1.5 miles past the junction of I-95, left at the third traffic light). Stay to the right and approx. 1 mile the field will be on your right.  The best place for officials to park is the parking lot just beyond center field. 

From I-95 South (Delaware/Philadelphia International Airport)

Using I-95 North, continue into Pennsylvania, through Philadelphia.
Continue on I-95 North into New Jersey. Take exit 4 (Route 31/Pennington
Road). Bear to the right off the exit ramp, you will be traveling
south on Route 31. At the third traffic light (about 1.5 miles),
make a left into the College entrance. Stay to the right and approx. 1 mile the field will be on your right.  The best place for officials to park is the parking lot just beyond center field. 

From Route 78 (Easton, PA and the West)

Take Route 78 East into New Jersey. Continue to exit 17 (Route 31
South/Flemington and Trenton). Continue south on Route 31 into the
Flemington Circle. Take Route 202/31 South. Exit at Route 31 South
(Trenton). Follow Route 31 South until the entrance to the College
(about 1.5 miles past the junction of I-95, left at the fourth traffic
light). Stay to the right and approx. 1 mile the field will be on your right.  The best place for officials to park is the parking lot just beyond center field. 

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Pittsburgh, PA and Ohio)

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike/I-276 East to the Philadelphia/US
1 exit. Keep left at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto US 1 North
Lincoln Highway. Stay straight to go onto US 1 North. Take the I-95
North exit toward Trenton. Merge onto Delaware Expressway/I-95 North.
Proceed into New Jersey. Take exit 4 (Route 31/Pennington Road).
Bear to the right off the exit ramp, you will be traveling south
on Route 31. At the fourth traffic light (about 1.5 miles), make a
left into the College entrance. Stay to the right and approx. 1 mile the field will be on your right.  The best place for officials to park is the parking lot just beyond center field. 

 

From Long Island

Take the Verrazano Bridge to Staten Island. Stay on 278 West to
Goethals Bridge. After crossing the bridge, take first exit for 95
South (NJ Turnpike). Follow directions from NJ Turnpike

Turn left into FDR park, then right into NovaCare. The field is located right behind the tennis courts as you first enter FDR park.

From Route 23

Take Alps Road exit (Wayne). (From Route 23 North: exit directly onto Alps Road. From Route 23 South: proceed to stop sign; make a right onto Alps Road.) Proceed approximately 2 miles to the traffic light at intersection of Alps and Ratzer Roads. Turn extreme right onto Ratzer and proceed approximately 2 miles to the traffic light at the intersection of Ratzer Road and Hamburg Turnpike. After crossing intersection, Ratzer becomes Pompton Road. Proceed about 200 yards. University entry gates 4 through 1 are on left along Pompton Road. From Route 23 and Alps Road, the distance to campus is 5.5 miles with an approximate travel time of 10 minutes.

From Northern New Jersey via Garden State Parkway

Take the Garden State Parkway South to exit 159, Route 80 West. Proceed to Route 23 North. *See directions from Route 23.

Padavan-Preller Fields (H.B.Q.V.B. Athletic Complex) in Bellerose, Queens will be the main site for York’s softball games. 

Alternate Softball Field- Cunningham Park

Cunningham Park, Field #9 is located on 73rd Avenue in between Francis Lewis Blvd and Hollis Hills Terrace in Queens. 

From I-295 (New Jersey)

After crossing Delaware Memorial Bridge, stay right and follow sign to Route 13 South, Dover. Once on Route 13 South, go approximately 1 mile to third traffic light (2nd overhead walkway). Turn left between the college and BP gas station. Follow to the back parking lot.

From I-95 South (Philadelphia)

Take 1-95 South to exit 5A, Route 141 South toward New Castle. Take 141 South past the third traffic light, then take the second exit on the right onto Route 13 North. Wilmington University will be immediately on the right. Turn right at the first traffic light and follow Fithian Drive all the way to the back parking lot. The field is located behind the grey Annex buildings.

From I-95 North (Baltimore)

Take 1-95 North to exit 5A, Route 141 South toward New Castle. Keep left after exiting. Follow road to a traffic light. Turn right onto 141 South. Take 141 South past the second traffic light, then take the second exit on the right onto Route 13 North. Wilmington University will be immediately on the right. Turn right at the first traffic light and follow Fithian Drive all the way to the back parking lot. The field is located behind the grey Annex building.

From Central & Southern Delaware and Maryland Eastern Shore

Take Route 13 North or Route 40 East toward Wilmington. Keep right past Airport Plaza Shopping Center (on right) and the New Castle County airport (on left). You will pass under Route 141 (Basin Road). Wilmington University will be immediately on your right.
